How do you estimate a whole-house cleanout?

We walk through the property, review everything to be removed and estimate the number of loads. We choose our own dumpsters or box trucks based on the volume and scope. Tell us about stairs, heavy items and access. Appliances are included only when agreed upon; removing them affects the estimate. You approve the scope and price before work begins.

What should I do before the crew arrives?

Identify items to keep and mark them with blue painter’s tape. Tell us about appliances, screens, doors and other materials needed for the property’s maintenance. A family member can identify what stays. If we discover photographs, documents or valuables, we contact you and show you what we found.

Can you coordinate a cleanout while I am out of town?

Yes. We can arrange authorized access, such as a customer-provided lockbox. Send a text identifying what stays and what goes. Our office manager confirms the scope, emails a scope-of-work estimate and calls for approval before scheduling the work. We send before-and-after photos, accept payment by phone and provide a paid invoice.

What is included in the final cleanup?

We remove the agreed contents and larger debris, then sweep the cleared floors. We do not deep clean, wash countertops, clean toilets or vacuum. A cleaning company can handle the deeper cleaning afterward. Carpet and padding removal is optional and costs extra; tack strips remain.

What happens to removed belongings?

Usable furniture and household belongings may be donated, recyclable materials go to a recycling center, and unusable accepted materials go to the landfill. We confirm materials and removal scope during the estimate.

How long does a house cleanout take?

A typical whole-house cleanout takes one to three days, often about two. Timing depends on the amount of material, heavy items and access. We discuss timing for your specific property before scheduling.
